THE DRAFT

 

Date of Draft: Tuesday August 29, 2000

Time:6:30 Place: Greg Christophell’s house..

Each franchise will draft the following:

3 – Quarterbacks (individual)

6 – Running Backs

6 – Wide Receivers/Tight Ends

2 – Kickers

2 – Defense/Special Reams

2 - Reserve players (note: reserve players can not be selected until above complete roster is filled)

Remember when you draft a "Defensive Team" you are also selecting the "Special "Teams" for that particular NFL team, giving you potential points whenever your selected team’s defense or special teams is on the field.

The makeup`ster remains the same throughout the season. You do not have to maintain any reserve players but you must always have 3QB, 6RB, 6REC, 2K, and 2 Defense.

A reserve player can be activated at any time without a fee and be played the same week.

Any activated reserve player must fit into the franchise’s main roster, meaning if you activate a reserve quarterback, you must drop, trade or de-activate (drop to reserves) an existing quarterback.

There is a 10.00 transaction fee for every trade or free agent acquisition.

The money collected for above will be dispursed to the total point leader after 17 weeks

 

ROSTER

Rosters are due each week by midnight Thursday. Preferred method is by E-mail or phone. E-mail address is [email protected]. Phone # 660-2120. If you fail to submit a roster at any time, the previously weeks roster will be used. If you fail to submit a roster for thee weeks in a row, I’ll take it that you lost interest and all your monies will be forfeited and your roster will very likely be auctioned off. Each week your submitted roster must include the following:

1 – Quarterback

3 – Running Back

3 – Wide receivers

1 – Kicker

1 – Defense/Special Team

Players may only be used in the position they were drafted in. Example: A player drafted and listed on your franchise roster as a quarterback may only be substituted into the quarterback position.

Points are calculated each week by the performance of the players submitted on your weekly roster. It is your job to let me know if you disagree with the weekly points calculated. Most of you know how accurate the software is

 

 

SCORING

Quarterbacks/Running Backs/Receivers/Kickers

4 points – Passing touchdown

6 points – rushing or receiving touchdown

2 points – passing, receiving and rushing 2pt conversion

Kicking

1 point – Extra point

2 points – 0 –39 yard field goal

3 points – 40 – 49 yard field goal

4 points – 50 + yard field goal

Bonus points

1 point – Per 50 yards passing

1 point - Per 20 yards rushing

1 point – Per 20yards receiving

Defense/Special Teams

6 points – Any touchdown by Defense or Special Teams

2 points – Safety

1 point - Per turnover (defensive recovery or interception.)

7 points – Shutout

 

 

 

Transactions

There is no limit to the number of transactions allowed. However there are no more transactions after week 14.The weekly transaction deadline is midnight Thursday, along with your weekly roster

Transaction rules

Any player not originally drafted may be picked up by any franchise. The name/position /NFL team of the desired player must be submitted with your weekly roster. The team with the lowest point total going into any week has the rights to first pick only. The team with the next lowest point total has the right to the next pick up and so on. If any team desires more than one player, the order is repeated as many times as necessary. If you are granted a new player then you must drop one from your existing roster. No team may pick up a player the same week that he is dropped. Players acquired via waiver wire are activated immediately and can play the same week.

 

Playoffs

 

Our fantasy playoffs will be held during the last two weeks of the NFL regular season. Your teams ranking entering the playoffs will be based on the following criteria. (As calculated through week 15)

  4. Head to Head Record
